Parenting at the highest level | Lessons From My Family’s Past | How to Maintain a Romantic Relationship While Working and Raising Children | Raising Empowered Kids: The Journey Starts with Us
I loved to read how DR offered another perspective on parenting and I would like to thank grandparents for parenting our parents or even us at times. Grandparents used to be more involved in 'parenting' , and we could also think of parenting from a "village" perspective. Growing up and raising kids with the help of a village, where values were already established. It could be interesting to relfect on this and discuss.
I agree Gabby it is so important to have the "village" mentality as each person has something more to add. grandparents are wonderful to have around to teach kids.
Thank you so much, Pamela. I appreciate you being willing to admit you possibly could have done things differently, but we do what we can with what we have. Awareness is the catalyst for growth. 💕
Thank you for participating in this conversation. I agree! I think you raise an excellent point that there is value in letting children face challenges!
Please share your thoughts on the current parenting trends.

Great issue. Wish I’d done more of these things while I was raising my kids
