I feel so blessed to have found your publication. After my recovery from severe mental illness, someone decided to take over my Facenook and Instagram! Just when I was starting my coaching. They said they could do it better! So, instead of letting that bother me, I started reaching out within my local community. I have made more friends and have laughed and loved more than ever. And, now I have found Medium and Sinstack! I told my ex-boyfrirnd who is still a dear friend that my great-grandmothet's dream has come true for me (well, maybe O left that first part out) and I am becoming Jo March@
Every day off of medication is a pleasure and a victory. I truly have been learning how to savor each and every moment. And, I can't wait to read more stories of Recovery and write some more about my own experience
God used it all to humble me. I started out a Neiroscience major, went to a school that I probably shouldn't have, changed my focus to Drama Therapy and got sabotaged by myself. So, God gave me a vision a few years before I got sick of what he needs me to do. And, it is amazing that now I have the tools and knowledge and friends and...everything to do it! So, the diagnosis and such were actually a blessing. Everything that is happening to us is always for our knowledge and to bless the world.
Gabriella, thank you for all that you do to make this a better world. When I began reading and writing on DEP, I really had no idea what I was getting into. Now, I feel blessed that Dr. Preeti asked me to join. Empowerment is a great beginning to this series.
