All of these comments show a great deal of wisdom and sensitivity. What happens when we live in parts of the country (or world) where we don’t encounter others of different cultures is we insulate ourselves. It takes courage to reach out of our comfort zone.

Excellent point, it does take courage. But its worth the personal growth.

Each piece was excellent. We need to grow through our communities by accepting one another.

I live in a small town where practically everyone is from the same area... Most are born and raised here or in near by towns.

Quite honestly... They are not too accepting to change or strangers.

I'm glad other areas are more diverse.🌹

Thank you so much, Brenda, for your kind comment and support. 🌹

In many cases, people might tend to protect their community when change or strangers come. It is natural from an evolutionary point of view.

At the same time, it is worth it trying to get to know the new people and give them a chance, even if it is a slow process.

With curiosity and kindness, we could change more lives for the better this way. 🙏
