Moments that fly by, 
Moments come and go, 
No pleasing anyone, 
Life just sneaks by.

Every day brings something new into our lives. Every moment is precious as we do not know what the next moment will bring. All we can do is hope that are moments sum up to a good life. A life that brings love. A life that brings joy to ourselves and others in our lives. I am hoping that my moments sitting here contribute to something meaningful in life. I am hoping that my words, my work, my poetry, and my being mean something to myself and to hopefully some other people in my life, and my surroundings. That is all we can hope for right?

To make some kind of difference for those who care about us and for those we care about. What does life mean anyway?

What does life mean to you?

To me, it means the sum of me and the sum of everything around me living and non-living including the “empty” space and the universe itself.

Two weeks ago I had a chance to hug a beautiful Redwood Tree in Humboldt County California. I enjoyed every moment of it even in the pouring rain with my wet shoes and wet socks and wet feet. I was cold yet happy at the same time. There is something truly magical about these amazing trees. I love the connection they bring. They stand with time. They breathe what I don’t and give me air that I can breathe in. Simply majestic and magical.
